What it is

The ABT system is appropriate for power plants, solar plants and where ever the power is generated. It is a frequency based pricing mechanism applicable for unscheduled electric power transactions. It is a tariff structure for bulk power and is aimed at bringing about more responsibility and accountability in power generation and consumption through a scheme of incentives and disincentives.

The system provides monitoring facility of online power generation to achieve the scheduled generation maintaining the lowest grid frequency and brings balance tariff structure and generator distributions enforcing discipline in the grid.

Solution: San D Automation provides software solution to interface ABT meters and captures the power generation and frequency on real time basis and will be presented the data in various formats of screens, trends, dashboards and reports. This acts as a very effective analytical tool which helps in monitoring the actual generation to meet the scheduled generation.
